Kelli Baker, director, global procurement and sourcing, UTC Climate, Controls & Security?agrees that this type of volunteer event contributes to team morale and collaboration, with the added benefit of helping neighbors in Palm Beach County.
“There are not many other times in life where a day of hard work can be so much fun and so rewarding! As new members of the Palm Beach community, it felt great to participate in a cause that will truly help turn people’s lives around,” she said.
“Leesa [Brown] was beaming with positive energy; she introduced herself to everyone, asked each of us our names, personally thanked each one of us for our time and hard work and was eager to take a photo with our team so she could remember the volunteers that helped make her dream a reality,” Baker added.
